About Us

Established in 1999 Solutionforge serves the international financial community with a specific focus on the Financial Information Exchange protocol (FIX). FIX.NET Server, Solutionforge’s FIX engine, is currently used by over 500 financial institutions globally.

FIX.NET Server had been designed as a flexible product that has been successfully implemented in both a high availability/high performance exchange type environment and into small institutions as a simple and easy to integrate solution.

Whilst many vendors within the finance industry have adopted a cross-platform product development strategy, Solutionforge has recognised that many customer organisations are increasingly standardising on Microsoft platforms for their core business systems. Solutionforge's range of software solutions are designed from the ground up to take full advantage of the Microsoft environment, enabling customers to leverage their investment both in systems and in development, operations and support personnel.

Foremost amongst Solutionforge's core values is dedication to customer service. In recognition of this philosophy, established customers frequently request further services and often provide references for new clients.

Another key aspect of Solutionforge's strategy is developing partner relationships. To date, Solutionforge technology has been adopted by other independent software vendors for embedding within their solutions, but opportunities exist for both OEM implementations and Value-Added Resellers.

Relationship with SimCorp: In 2005 Solutionforge became a SimCorp company. This enabled SimCorp to embed Solutionforge’s FIX.NET Server and FIX.NET Trader technology into their flagship investment management product, SimCorp Dimension as well as strengthening the company’s trading knowledge base.

In October 2007 SimCorp purchased the remaining shares in Solutionforge. This testifies to the success of the two companies working together.

The team at Solutionforge are involved in the development of SimCorp’s trading technology and have contributed significantly to the delivery of the new Order Management module (OM3) in SimCorp Dimension.
